420 Mainsail – SRK6
New generation, new technology, same Zaoli DNA
The SRK6 is designed using our new geometry-generation software, enhanced by advanced aerodynamic simulations and AI-driven data analysis. By combining these modern tools with our long-standing experience in 420 sail development, we created a mainsail that is more precise, easier to read, and consistently efficient across the full wind range.
The SRK6 features a more modern geometry:

a more forward profile in the lower section, keeping the entry clean with the jib flow and reducing the tendency to backwind;

a slightly aft-shifted profile in the upper section, improving acceleration and providing greater stability in gusts.
A slightly increased twist improves load management and makes the sail easier to depower, while the overall curvature is distributed to keep the flow attached and ensure a predictable response to cunningham, outhaul, and vang adjustments.
These design choices make the SRK6 easier to trim, less sensitive to small tuning errors, and much more all-round: fast in light air, consistent in medium wind, and highly controllable in stronger breeze.
With reduced backwinding in the lower area and higher overall efficiency, the SRK6 also delivers better real pointingand a more neutral, precise feel on the helm.
