ALUULA
This model is made with the ALUULA Aeris X, the new era of ultralight materials:
WEIGHT
Lighter than nylon, polyester and aramid.
STRENGTH
Eight times the strength-to-weight ratio of steel.
RECYCLING
Made from a single polymer and recycle ready.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
Superior tear resistance
Ultra low water absorption
Excellent UV resistance
Bacterial growth resistant
Excellent abrasion resistance
ELLIPTICAL LEADING EDGE®
Our expert designer focused on the aerodynamics and designed a revolutionary elliptic leading edge.
Our patented Elliptical Leading Edge® is created to break records.
EASY ZIP SURFACE SYSTEM®
A revolutionary system to change the surface of the sail in a few seconds
you can keep the same edge structure and change the sail surface.
A huge advantage in technical and economic terms, and a sustainable model.
STIFF CARBON HANDLES:
stiffening the boom, easy and accurate trimming
LEECH BATTENS:
Making the sail surface more stable and with straighter exits = more leech control and more speed
ALL AROUND BATTEN:
This thin batten is making your wing structure 5 times stiffer comparing to a standard one. This, combined with the elliptic shape, allowed us to design the leading edge 40% smaller. The drag is reduced and this means more speed with more control in upwind
X-GIRTH TECHNORA FABRIC:
Thanks to the light Technora X ply, the leech will not stretch and overall the sail surface will last much longer.
DYNEMA SEAMS:
The seams are internally reinforced with dynema. This prevent the stretch of the stitches allowing high inflation pressure
